Experia launches the Business Aviation Asia Forum in Singapore

Experia Events, the organiser of the Singapore Airshow, is introducing the Business Aviation Asia Forum and Expo (BAAFEx), the first international exhibition in the Asia Pacific focused exclusively on the expanding business aviation sector.

Scheduled to take place biennially, the inaugural BAAFEx will occur from March 4 to 6, 2025, at the Changi Exhibition Centre, a specialised venue designed for airshows, featuring ample space for static aircraft displays.

The rising demand for business aviation in the Asia Pacific, especially in Southeast Asia, underscores the need for a dedicated event in the region.

Research by Asian Sky Group indicates that as of the end of 2023, approximately 1,200 business jets were operating in the Asia Pacific, making it the third-largest market for business jets after North America and Europe. Singapore is an ideal venue for the event, being a major business hub with strong connectivity to both regional and global markets.

Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director of Experia Events, stated, "We are excited to launch BAAFEx, an event that will not only highlight the latest innovations in business and general aviation but also serve as a platform for industry leaders to collaborate and shape the future of these sectors."

BAAFEx will feature an exhibition and industry forum that includes participants from all areas of the business and general aviation ecosystem. Confirmed exhibitors include aircraft management and charter operator TAG Aviation, integrated travel risk management company MedAire, satellite operator Viasat, and the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority, which is favored by business jet operators.

The forum will span several days, featuring industry leaders who will discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in both general and business aviation. This setting provides an ideal opportunity for aircraft buyers, operators, and suppliers to connect and collaborate.

Additionally, the exhibition will offer networking opportunities, including exclusive receptions and business matchmaking sessions designed to enhance collaboration and foster partnerships.
